1.What is the longest you've gone without using and/or checking your phone?
I went two weeks without my phone when I went on a European river cruise.
2. What are your favorite apps?
Words with Friends and Pinterest.
3. How often do you update your status, tweets, etc.?
Very rarely. I think it took me two years to change my Facebook profile picture.
4. Do you have any mobile horror stories?
Prior to the iPhone, my phone was one that flipped open. One day I dropped it and tried to catch it with my foot but kicked it across the parking lot. When I picked it up the top part was dangling. It still worked I used it for a couple of weeks like that until I was able to get an upgrade.
5. What platform are you on?
6. When did you first get your smartphone?
Three years ago.
7. What accessories do you use and what do you use them for?
Headphones, screen shields and protection cases. I use the headphones to listen to my music or videos while on set. I use the screen shields and cases for obvious reasons.
8. What is your ringtone?
I'm not sure. My phone is always on vibrate. When I am on set and cannot risk my phone ringing during a take.
9. Have you ever lost your phone? What happened?
Yes! My phone insurance was cancelled because I had to have my iPhone replaced twice. The first time I was in a furniture store and sat down my phone slipped out of my pocket, 15 minutes later I went back to couch and it was gone. I went to front counter they didn’t have it so I called my number and the phone had been turned off somebody found/stole it. Less than a year later on my European cruise, I was trying to figure out how much to tip my driver in Budapest by using an app. I decided to just give him a big tip in US currency. Once I got back onto the boat I realized that I had left the phone in the car. I called the car company from the boat and they contacted the driver. He said we were his last customers and he took his car to the car wash and somebody there must have taken it because it was not in his car.
10. Which PureGear products do you like best and why?
I use the Utilitarian Smartphone Support System. It’s great because I can prop my phone up anywhere to watch videos or play games. It even clips onto things if there is no space to set it down. I also use the PureBoom ear buds – they have great sound quality.
