Full Circle Cycling at the Brentwood Grand Prix
This Sunday, cyclists from all over Southern California and Nevada will converge on San Vicente Blvd. in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles for the annual Brentwood Grand Prix. The Southern California Nevada Cycling Association has chosen this year’s race to be the 2012 SCNCA Elite Criterium Championship, with the Grand Prize being the honor of wearing the coveted “Bear Jersey”. The race is being hosted once again by Velo Club La Grange, one of the oldest and largest cycling clubs in Southern California.
Last year, the Brentwood Grand Prix saw the largest field in its 4-year history with over 750 racers competing in front of more then 3000 spectators. With the involvement of SCNCA this time, they are expecting full race fields in all categories and even greater numbers of spectators coming out.
